Safety and moderation

Clear ways to report a problem

Aethera has separate intake paths for video, live chat, copyright, and account-safety reports. Clear context helps the right part of the report be reviewed without exposing unrelated private information.

Report channels

  • Video reports are available from watch pages.
  • Live chat reports are available from stream chat interfaces.
  • Copyright and DMCA notices are handled through the DMCA form.
  • Account, billing, or access issues can be submitted through support.

How reports are prioritized

  • Immediate risks to account security, user safety, or ongoing service integrity are reviewed first.
  • Active abuse, harmful content, and credible repeat-offender reports are prioritized next.
  • Routine policy reports are reviewed after higher-impact reports.

Aethera is built and operated by one developer. I review reports by risk and available evidence, but the moderation queue is not monitored around the clock and I cannot promise a decision by a set time.

Aethera is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

Appeals

If an enforcement notice offers an appeal action, use it so the appeal stays connected to that action. Otherwise contact support with your account identifier, action reference, reason for appeal, and relevant evidence.

Appeal timing varies with the complexity of the action and the evidence that must be reviewed. Submitting duplicate appeals does not speed up review.
